Recently I decided I wanted to rebuild my table saw workstation. I wanted to change it to something a lot smaller and would use it's space more efficiently. Here is what I came up with.
I wanted to show you guys the place that I get the lumber from for the projects. Located in Berryville, VA right off of Rt. 7. If you are looking for a source in the NOVA area be sure to pay these guys a visit.

You just have to be sure that the adjustable holes are in the right locations, if I used a 3/4" bit on mine the circle would be 1/4" smaller than that the jig would measure.

Now that we are getting into the Christmas season, I thought I would share with you guys 4 simple tools that I have found to be very helpful around the shop. Even though they are really not "woodworking" tools they still come in handy. Merry Christmas to your guys.
I decided to take part in The Woodwhisperer's latest charity build. This time it was a rocking horse. My process was a little bit different than his in that I decided to make templates for all the parts so I could make more in the future.

Just a quick update on what's going on in the shop and some upcoming projects.

In this part I cover how I made the braces to insure the top stays flat, and I'll use a router to cut the groves for the pipes to sit it that make of the main vise. I'll also make the planning sled for the side.
In this part, I glue up the main portion of the top, that sucker is heavy. I also mill the parts for the legs and stretchers, lay them out and cut the core mortise and tenon joinery.
