I used to love to draw women's faces when I was in highschool. I had to draw one just for old time sake. This time I added the doodle patterns that are such a part of my artwork currently. A merging of past and present.
Another "Zendoodle", this time with some coy fish. As soon as I drew the fish I saw a yin yang theme. Ink art is so yin yang to begin with being black and white. I really enjoyed drawing this one. It was completed in fine point and ultra fine point Sharpie markers, a light gray marker, and a little graphite pencil on the fish themselves.
Here is one of my "Zendoodles". This video shows the process of one being made. I love taking pictures of the various stages and watching how it unfolds. It is always a surprise as to what the end product will look like! That is the fun of "Zendoodle!"
Here is a technique I came up with to create a "Mock Stained Glass". I love the look of stained glass. I have found that water colors and Sharpie markers can create a very similar appearance and are a whole lot cheaper than a real stained glass project! LOL!

Is that a Kentucky Mandolin? I have a Kentucky too! (km-162)
I love watching him create music like this! Parents, encourage your kids to play around with their instrument/s. You will be astounded at what you child will express! Charlie is 7.
