Separate but equal is not equal. They don't have the same rights and Domestic Partnerships are not recognized by the federal government or states that do not have Domestic Partnerships. That is NOT equal.
I started shooting when the march passed Alamitos & Broadway.

No they would not be recognized in? other states and or by the fed gov't. But by legalizing gay marriage it brings the issue a step forward towards allowing all gays the opportunity to marry. I feel dirty saying "legalize". It make me think that marrying someone you love is a crime. This issue is disgrace the constitution and the core ideologies that all Americans hold near and dear. Such a shame.

So if prop 8 had? not passed, would the federal govt and 49 other states recognized those marraiges?
