?Dixie's Land? (1916 recording)
Posted by: maxpowers518
Video duration: 241 seconds
An old 1916 recording of Dixie/Dixie's Land/I Wish I Was in Dixie by Billy Murray and Ada Jones. It was composed in 1859 by Daniel Decatur Emmett. Although strongly associated with the south and the Confederacy, it was reportedly a favorite song of Abraham Lincoln, as he had a military band play it before a large crowd soon after the Civil War ended.

JFK said 61, 62, 63.? Tragic irony. R.I.P JFK Forever
By: Rachel Dylan-Kennedy. on 19 May 12, 02:42:17
1) If you think Kennedy appeared tanned and lean because of his make-up, you're wrong...it was his Addison's Disease. And Nixon still looked like he had to pee, regardless. 2) Kennedy himself believed in the missile gap -- it was another? person who leaked the (fake and inflated) USSR missile figures to him in the 50s. It wasn't until he entered office in '61 that he was told the missile gap was a farce. He had a few choice words for the men who deceived him.

I think Nixon won this debate?
By: jhovaj. on 08 Dec 11, 22:11:39
He? (JFK), in the first debate, said '61, '62, and '63 that he would be not possible to reduce the national debt. Those were only years in office. Remarkable.

JFK was the greatest president to take the oath of office, there? has not been a more patriotic president since our four fathers

I'm not unhappy that Kennedy won. But Nixon shouldn't? have cocked his head to the side, should have accepted the offer to put on make-up, and should have gotten clearance to say there wasn't a "missle gap." After the Cook County cheating, I sometimes wonder if that isn't something Nixon internalized for later.
