With CNC machines the wood cutting & carving is way more precise, the tolerances are very tight, and all the guitars are consistent. When I was a kid, a lot of guitars, especially inexpensive ones, were? poorly made. Necks were put on crooked, action was horrible, parts didn't line-up.
