Bp said they weren't hiding anything from people. If you ask the bp employees about it however, they will say nothing. No comment. No words. We arrest people for small offenses for long periods of time. Bp? isn't responsible for their actions? They can escape criminal charges? We must put the corporate money hungry people in their places. Its just a big game of monopoly to them. And our patience is running thin.

You're crazy. We depend on them. The animals are still a piece? of life. You're probably an ignorant, selfish American. Fuck you. It's not like we are defendant on you to survive or anything. Fuck you.

Yes but the American press blew this out of proportion, this coupled with the financial downturn in America made this a perfect scape goat. Now, in 2012 the reality is the? OEM, (oil eating microbes) which exon sold to BP to use and the established conservation zone was enough to rebalance the tiny enviro-area effected. Oddly enough the Americans are now moaning about crude oil prices after they have halted gulf of mexico oil exploration and drilling.

Let me ask you one thing. Would you like to be covered in oil and dying while people watched you and said, "It's not me so why should I? care"?

What I dislike about America is their ability to wipe their? hands clean of something. A good example is Obama's continual reference to 'British Petroleum'. Of course everyone knows the company is now officially 'BP' and is one of the largest GLOBAL corporations in the world. Another example is how America can invade a country illegally in their own interest for oil, resulting in over 100,000 civilians dead and leaving that country utterly devastated. Then wipe their hands completely clean of it.

Its two years later, and people are STILL trying to place blame?? Its simple, it was BP. We need to stop focusing on the politics of the matter, and focus on the cleanup efforts. What has been done? What still needs to be done? It will be years before we can fully comprehend the scope of this disaster, but that does not mean we need to wait that? long to help fix it. Stop the bullshit arguing, go out and get educated on the current situation and keep talking about it.

i do love how everyone is acting like BP has committed the worst thing ever known. I'm not saying the whole? situation is fine, it's not but everyone seems to forget the Bhopal disaster with the American company Union Carbide. Due to the effects of the disaster over 20,000 people have died. We are not talking about sea worms but people. Union Carbide billed $470 Million - BP billed an estimated $21,000 Million. BP $4,300 per barrel released / Union Carbide $533 per victim -? does that seem fair?

Yank. Yes. The word came from the Dutch settlers of New Amsterdam. Their version of ""John Bull" was Jan Kies. Yankees.Which is what the Brits called the natives of that area. And it stayed. Hardly an insult. But then you wouldn't know that.?
