I spent the first 9 months of? my 5 year active contract in basic, AIT, Airborne, and Special Operations training, but it still all counted toward my 5 year active commitment, and I enlisted while still in school, so i was on DEP for 9 months before basic which reduced my IRR to 27 months after I ETS'd. @GaMuRx not ...
