Just so people know, owning a farm makes you a... wait for it.... A FARMER! I grew up in a town with the population less then 1000 and I was? raised to treat my elders with respect and to help out anyone who couldn't help themselves (even if i didn't know them) I can't tell you how many times i have had to mow some strangers yard, but i'm proud of it cause it made me the man I am today... And i'm not even an adult yet..

I understand why your angry, but not everyone is like what you said. I was born and raised and still live in the city, yet I don't act like that. The closest I have come is loving country music and wanting to live in the country with my? own horse. I don't know what "real" country is, and I probably never will. im from a small town in oklahoma, raised in a broke down trailer in a cow pasure. my grandpa was a racher and a farmer and i helped him around it whenever? i could. real country aint about being southern, though, or from some backwoods town, its about how you live: honest, hard working, and god fearin. country music dont make you country, you make you country. listen, this song is the absolute truth. we need more like it. stop listening to nullshit and listen to more songs like this.

You don't have to grow up? working on a farm to be country. I grew up in the country, I help people all the time, I would give someone in need the shirt off my back if they needed it bad enough.
