The last independent state to exist in the area known as Palestine was Israel, 2000 years ago. Purchased or won through combat, the land? is now Israel. 60% of Jordan is Palestinian. There are many Arab/Muslim countries for Palestinians to find refuge. It is unfortunate that the Palestinians Arab brethren in Lebanon and Syria choose to keep them behind barbed wire. That's the real shame.
